Updated 20 October 2026. BMRCL's own timings page did not return data when we checked, so every time below carries the dated source it comes from. This article goes further than what currently ranks: the full frequency history, event-day late trains, feeder buses at Yellow Line stations, the coming Pink and Blue Line interchanges, and what the service means for homes in Electronic City, Singasandra and Bommasandra.

Frequency has improved in steps as BMRCL added trains. Peak hours on this line are 8 am to noon and 4 pm to 9 pm (Deccan Herald, 27 March 2026).

Yellow Line timings on Sunday
Sunday service starts later, at 7 am, with the same last-train times (BMRCL via Deccan Herald, 9 September 2025). The tracker lists a Sunday and public-holiday frequency of about 10 minutes (bengalurumetro.in, September 2026); BMRCL has not published a Sunday headway that we could find.
RV Road to Electronic City: time and fare
The unofficial tracker lists RV Road to Electronic City at about 22 minutes for a ₹60 token, and RV Road to Bommasandra at about 35 minutes for ₹70 (bengalurumetro.in, September 2026). Bommasandra to Electronic City is about 13 minutes. These are estimates from a non-BMRCL site; the fare shown at the gate or in the app is what you pay.
Late trains on match and event days
BMRCL extends hours for big events. For the India–West Indies T20 on 17 October 2026, the last train from Bommasandra left at midnight and from RV Road at 1:30 am on 18 October (Deccan Herald, 16 October 2026). These are one-off extensions; the next event will be announced separately.
Feeder buses and the next interchanges

- New feeder MF-22HS · Hulimavu (Pink) to Singasandra (Yellow) via DLF Layout and Begur Lake, 7 km, 6 buses, 90 daily trips; details subject to final arrangements (Deccan Herald, 12 Oct 2026)
- Jayadeva Hospital · Yellow–Pink interchange once the elevated Pink Line opens; BMRCL filed compliance with the safety commissioner's 36 observations on 15 Oct 2026 (Deccan Herald, 16 Oct 2026)
- Central Silk Board · Yellow–Blue interchange; the travelator contract was awarded on 14 Aug 2026 with a nine-month deadline, so not before May 2027 (Deccan Herald, 19 Aug 2026)
What it means for homes near the line
The southern half of the line serves Electronic City, Hosa Road, Singasandra, Hebbagodi and Bommasandra. A six-minute peak service is a different proposition from the 25-minute wait of August 2025: for many residents in these areas, a daily metro commute towards BTM Layout, Jayanagar (via RV Road) or the Green Line is now practical. Homes within about 1 km of a station are walkable; beyond 1–2 km, the BMTC feeders or an auto decide how useful the metro is in practice.
Before you buy, time the walk from the tower gate to the platform, check whether the route crosses Hosur Road, and look at the last-train times against your working hours. We make no prediction on prices.
