Before you register
- Buying in a woman's name
- A woman buyer pays 2 percentage points less than a man. On a ₹3 crore flat that is ₹6 lakh. Joint ownership with a woman saves 1 point.
- Collector rates went up
- Gurugram's collector rates rose in many sectors from 1 April 2026, so in some areas the duty is now charged on a higher figure than before. Find your sector: circle rates.

What is the stamp duty in Gurgaon in 2026?
7% for men, 5% for women and 6% for joint buyers in urban areas, charged on the higher of the price and the collector rate value. The registration fee is a slab amount capped at ₹50,000.
How much is the registration fee in Haryana?
It depends on the value: for example ₹25,000 up to ₹50 lakh, ₹40,000 up to ₹80 lakh, and ₹50,000 for anything above ₹90 lakh.
How much does a woman save on stamp duty in Gurgaon?
2% of the value: she pays 5% against 7% for a man. On a ₹2 crore flat that is ₹4 lakh.
How much is stamp duty on a ₹2 crore flat in Gurgaon?
₹14 lakh for a man, ₹10 lakh for a woman or ₹12 lakh for joint buyers, plus the ₹50,000 registration fee.
