Areas getting a metro station in November 2026

Pink Line elevated, cleared on 28 October and likely to open around 15 November, though unconfirmed (Swarajya, 29 October 2026).

Areas getting a metro station by about March 2027

Pink Line underground, target March 2027 (Deccan Herald, 5 October 2026). The station list follows Wikipedia, as BMRCL has not published one we could open.

  • Dairy Circle, Lakkasandra, Langford Town, National Military School
  • MG Road: interchange with the Purple Line
  • Shivajinagar, Cantonment, Pottery Town
  • Tannery Road, Venkateshpura, Kadugondanahalli (KG Halli)
  • Nagawara: interchange with the Blue Line once that section opens

Areas getting a metro station by about May 2027

Blue Line, Silk Board to KR Puram, BMRCL target May 2027 (NativePlanet, 16 October 2026). Trains will run progressively as stations are commissioned (Deccan Herald, 22 October 2026, as read by us on 23 October), so some stations may open before others.

  • HSR Layout, Agara, Ibbaluru, Bellandur
  • Devarabeesanahalli, Kadubeesanahalli, Marathahalli
  • ISRO, Doddanekundi, DRDO Sports Complex, Saraswathi Nagara
  • Central Silk Board and KR Puram are interchanges with the Yellow and Purple Lines

Areas getting a metro station from late 2027 to March 2028

Blue Line north. Hebbal to KIA is reported at September 2027, KR Puram to the airport at November 2027 and KR Puram to Hebbal at December 2027 to March 2028. These reports conflict, as explained in Airport Metro Opening Date: Hebbal to KIA Latest Target

  • Hebbal to airport: Hebbala, Kodigehalli, Jakkur Cross, Yelahanka, Bagaluru Cross, Doddajala, Airport City, KIAL Terminals
  • KR Puram to Hebbal: Kasturi Nagara, Horamavu, HRBR Layout, Kalyana Nagara, HBR Layout, Nagawara, Veerannapalya, Kempapura

Which areas will not get a metro before 2030?

  • Orange Line, JP Nagar 4th Phase to Kempapura: Kadirenahalli, Hosakerahalli, Nagarabhavi, Sumanahalli, Peenya, BEL Circle. Deadline 2032, construction not started (Deccan Herald, 10 September 2026).
  • Magadi Road, Hosahalli to Kadabagere: KHB Colony, Kamakshi Palya, Sunkadakatte, Herohalli. Same 2032 deadline.
  • Red Line, Hebbal to Sarjapur: Mekhri Circle, Koramangala, Bellandur Gate, Kaikondrahalli, Carmelaram, Dommasandra, Sarjapura. Target April 2033, central approval awaited as of 13 October 2026.
  • KR Puram to Hoskote along Old Madras Road: proposed only, no approved cost or date (Construction World, 8 October 2026).
