Doddakallasandra and Vajarahalli are consecutive Green Line stations on the Kanakapura Road stretch between Konanakunte Cross and Thalaghattapura (per Wikipedia, opened 15 January 2021). They are small localities in their own right, but they have become shorthand for the corridor's premium new launches. This guide compares them with a focus on the projects, the pricing sources that disagree, and the long gap between booking and handover.
Two stations, one corridor
Doddakallasandra lies just south of Konanakunte Cross; Vajarahalli sits between it and Thalaghattapura. The line then reaches Silk Institute, the terminus. NICE Road crosses the corridor nearby: a launch page for Purva Vajarahalli puts it about 2 km from the site, with the Thalaghattapura station about 100 m away and a DMart about 850 m. Use your own measurement of the walk.
Projects
Assetz Meru & Meadow is on Property Point at Assetz Meru Meadow Kanakapura Road.
- Assetz Meru & Meadow (Assetz Property Group): Property Point lists 2, 3 and 4 BHK homes on Kanakapura Road at ₹2.5-4.6 crore with possession in November 2030. A search result describing the same project in Doddakallasandra gave 3 and 4 BHK homes of 1,400-2,200 sq ft at ₹1.9-3 crore, with possession on 30 November 2030. The possession date agrees; the price range does not, which is probably a product of configuration and date. Always ask for the current price sheet.
- Purva Vajarahalli (Puravankara): 3 and 3.5 BHK homes of 1,950-2,250 sq ft built-up (1,267-1,462 sq ft carpet) at ₹2.90-3.37 crore all-inclusive, with December 2030 possession on 3.6 acres, and about 1% construction complete as of May 2026 (Housiey). Housiey describes two towers of 2 basements, ground and 39 floors; another source said 33 storeys, so verify the K-RERA filing.
- Vaishnavi Vistara: described in search results as a 3.27-acre, 144-unit community of 1, 2 and 3 BHK homes in Doddakallasandra with a ₹13,500 base rate. We could not verify this from a developer or K-RERA page.
Prices in context
A Housing.com result for Vajarahalli quoted an average of about ₹8,009 per sq ft. Launch pricing is far above that: dividing Purva Vajarahalli's ₹2.90 crore entry price by its 1,950 sq ft built-up area gives roughly ₹14,900 per sq ft all-inclusive, our own back-of-envelope reading from the Housiey listing and not a developer rate. The gap shows that average figures mix older low-rise stock with new towers, so compare the project rate with ready comparables, not with the locality headline.
Neighbouring averages from PropertyPistol (about ₹5,280 for Talaghattapura and ₹6,700 for Konanakunte) give a sense of how new launches here price well above the existing local base.
Timing risk: 2030 handovers
Both projects above carry November or December 2030 possession dates, roughly four years out. Over that period you face interest-rate changes, construction-quality risk and your own life changes. Practical protections include a construction-linked payment plan, a K-RERA registration whose date you have read yourself, and a clear clause on delay compensation under the RERA framework.
Schools, hospitals and daily life
We did not find a verified named list of schools or hospitals for these two stations in our sources. Wikipedia's entries for nearby Kumaraswamy Layout name Delhi Public School South and Alpine School as well as SAGAR and Vasavi hospitals, to the north. Plan for a drive for specialist care and confirm school bus coverage for the street you pick.
Pros and cons
- Pro: a metro station within a short walk of new projects, on a line that is open end to end.
- Pro: premium developers with brand track records, though each project's own record should be checked.
- Con: long delivery times and high ticket sizes, with 3 BHKs above ₹2 crore.
- Con: the corridor is still filling in; retail and social infrastructure are thinner than in JP Nagar or Jayanagar.
- Con: Kanakapura Road traffic, and the pace of NICE Road connections at peak hours.
Who it suits, and our view
These stations suit buyers who want a new, amenity-rich apartment on the Green Line and can wait until 2030. They suit those working along Kanakapura Road or the Green Line who value a metro walk. They suit less those who need to move in soon, or who want ready stock to inspect.
Our view: attractive for a patient end-user, with price and timeline disclosure being the main discipline. For a ready alternative nearby, Prestige Primrose Hills in Talaghattapura is a completed option listed on Property Point.
