What is the guidance value in Bangalore in 2026?+
The latest guidance values published by Karnataka's Department of Stamps and Registration for Bengaluru are the 2023-24 Central Valuation Committee revision. The department's site lists no newer Bengaluru revision as of October 2026, so reports of a 2025 or 2026 hike should be checked against the gazette before you rely on them.
What is the guidance value in Whitefield?+
Residential sites in Whitefield are listed at ₹60,000 per sq m (about ₹5,574 per sq ft), and Whitefield Main Road at ₹80,000 per sq m (about ₹7,432 per sq ft), in the Mahadevapura sub-registrar's 2023-24 gazette.
What is the stamp duty and registration fee in Karnataka?+
For a conveyance, including flats and apartments, the department's fee table lists stamp duty of 5% on the market value plus surcharge and additional duty, and a registration fee of 2%. The registration fee was raised from 1% to 2% with effect from 31 August 2025 (notification RD/46/MNMU/2025). The additional duty is 10% of the stamp duty.
Is there a stamp duty concession for new flats in Karnataka?+
No. The department's own FAQ answers that there is no concession of stamp duty for sale deeds of flats and apartments.
